Kim Zgonena never set out to own her own invitation business. Like any bride during a whirlwind of wedding planning, Kim simply wanted her wedding and all the details that made up her big day to be perfect. Inspired by a friend who had recently made her own wedding invitations, Kim realized the perfect invitation for her wedding wasn’t meant to be made by anyone else but her. After a beautiful wedding, Kim continued to use her artistic talents creating customized invitations. She soon realized that her full-time job wasn’t working for anyone else anymore, but rather working for herself as the sole designer of Kustom Kreations.

Since 1997, Kim has unintentionally positioned herself to be a leader in the customized invitations marketplace. Her sought after style and distinctive design features have gained editorial recognition in magazines such as Chicago Social Brides, Chicago Collection, The Knot Chicago, and Chicago Brides. In addition, Kim works with both new and repeat clients who turn to her for their trust in her unparalleled designs and one of a kind invitations.
